In the Ordinance with instruction the Swedish government states the Institute's tasks and how it should be governed and organised. In Swedish only.

Appropriation letter (Regleringsbrev)
The Appropriation letter from the Swedish government states what activities the Institute should pursue and what its goals are, as well as the funds allocated.

Budget documentation
The budget documents are the Institute’s proposal for the financing of the activities for the coming three financial years.

Action plan
The Action plan describes in detail the activities planned by the Institute for the coming three years. The plan is renewed every year.
