Loans and change of address

As a registered library user, by logging into our library catalogue, AfricaLit, via our home page, you will be able to:

  • See your loans.
  • Renew borrowed items.
  • Reserve books currently out on loan.
  • Order material from the stacks.
  • Change your address.
  • Take note of newly acquired literature in the library.

Log in as follows:

  1. Go to the library catalogue, AfricaLit.
  2. Click on "User login".
  3. Fill in your User ID and Pincode.

New user?

  1. Go to the new user registrationsform at AfricaLit.
  2. Fill in the form by carefully following the instructions. All essential fields are marked with *.
  3. Bring your identification document and collect your library card at the librarian's station.

NOTE! You will be required to sign your application form when you collect your new library card. You are thereby bound to acquaint yourself with and to abide by the library's rules and regulations. This is also authorization for your name to be registered in the library users' register, i.e. by signing you agree that your name will be registered.
