Book suggestions

NAI reads. (In Swedish) The Nordic Africa Institute's reading group shares its reading list. Staff at the Nordic Africa Institute meet regularly, since a couple of years, to read and discuss modern African literature. We read books from the whole continent, both books translated into Swedish as well as books in English and French. We want to share our reading lists to other reading groups that are curious on Africa and African literature.

The reading list is in Swedish. But the original titles are indicated as well. It contains selected books that the reading group has read. The books are sorted by the authors name in alphabetic order. The title is linked to the Swedish national catalogue, Libris, for full bibliographic information. Here you also find information about where, in Sweden, the title can be found. Check with your national union catalogue or local library to find out where to find a book.
