Codesria, the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa, held its general assembly in Rabat, Morocco in December last year. Eva Evers Rosander, NAI associate and associate professor in social anthropology, was invited by Codesria to participate in a discussion on migration, citizenship and identities. In this account of the meeting, she reflects on contemporary Morocco and academic life in the country.
Codesria is one of the Nordic Africa Institute's partner institutions. It was recently ranked among the five best think tanks in Africa by University of Pennsylvania.
