Burundi peace talks should be more inclusive

“There are important actors who should be participating in the dialogue, but the government won’t allow it and they can't come in to the country for fear of their lives”, says Angela Muvumba Sellström, researcher at the Nordic Africa Institute, about the Burundi Crisis.

Angela Muvumba Sellström is just back from field studies in Burundi, where she is doing research on non-state armed groups. In an interview in Al Jazeera she analyses the situation in the country, where talks to find a solution to the political crisis are under way.

Muvumba Sellström was also interviewed by BBC World Service (interview begins around at about 28 minutes in to the program).
