About the library

The library at the Nordic Africa Institute is aimed at users throughout the Nordic region. It specializes in contemporary Africa and its holdings cover the entire continent.

Borrow literature on contemporary Africa within the fields of social sciences and some arts subjects. We also have a collection of modern African fiction.

Ask by visiting, phoning or writing to us. You can also use our reference service Ask the library. We will help you to find the literature you are looking for.

Read our extensive collection of journals. We also have a comprehensive reference library. There is reading space for up to 40 persons.
